Will it fit my stroller
Will it fit the stroller I already own?
It fits more than 1,000 stroller models. It works on any stroller with a sturdy frame that can carry your child's weight. Unsure? DM us on Instagram, or WhatsApp +60 11-5458 8580, and we'll check for you.
Does it work on a compact or travel stroller?
Usually, as long as the frame is sturdy. The thing to watch on a very light frame is balance: a child sitting behind the rear wheels shifts the centre of gravity backwards. Keep the stroller seat occupied or the basket loaded, and it stays settled. Send us a photo if you'd like us to look at your model.
What about a double stroller?
Often, yes. It needs a sturdy handlebar and frame to hook onto. On a side-by-side double you may prefer to hook it towards one end rather than the centre. Photo us and we'll advise.
Using it
How long does it take to put on?
Ten to thirty seconds. Two hooks over the handlebar, two more at the bottom left and right, then slide the buckles to set the height. No tools and nothing to assemble.
Can I just leave it on the stroller?
Yes, and most parents do. At 300g you don't feel it when it's empty, so there's no reason to take it off between outings.
Can I fold the stroller with it attached?
On most strollers, yes. On very compact folds it's easier to unclip it first. That takes a couple of seconds, and it rolls straight back into its pouch.
Can I move it between strollers?
Yes. Nothing is permanently fitted, so it goes from your everyday stroller to the travel one in seconds.
Safety
How much weight does it hold?
Up to 18kg. That covers most children who are around 6 years of age.
What age is it for?
From about two years old up to around six, roughly 120cm, and never above the 18kg limit. Your child should be able to sit up confidently on their own.
Do I need to stay close by?
Yes. The hammock is made for a child riding alongside you while you walk, within arm's reach. Children do doze off in it on the way home, but it isn't a cot and it isn't for unattended sleep.
Can I jog or run with it?
No. It's made for walking pace. On uneven ground, slow down and take the kerbs gently.
What about stairs?
Lift your child out before you lift the stroller. Carrying a loaded stroller up or down a flight is where things go wrong, hammock or no hammock.
Fabric and care
How do I wash it?
By hand, with a mild detergent, then hang it to dry. A couple of minutes, and it keeps the fabric and the stitching in good order far longer than a machine cycle would.
